Nottingham’s Creative Quarter is an environment that attracts creative and digital businesses and supports them to start-up, spin-out, grow and thrive. It is a mix of retail and bars, restaurants, cafés, galleries, art house cinemas and theatres.
This collection of illustrations was created in line with CQ's existing branding to help promote the brand in digital and print advertising.
Showcasing Creative Quarter as a vibrant and exciting place to visit and work in, the isometric illustrations portray it’s venues and Nottngham’s landmarks - such as the Nottingham Castle, Sneinton Market buildings and Robin Hood statue - using a colourful flat illustration style, giving it a clear sense of place.
The isometric nature of the illustration made it possible to mix and match different elements in a variety of compositions and tailor each new composition to specific output requirements - including print (posters, magazine adverts, outdoor banners) and digital outputs (website, email and social media assets).
