The Canvas is a community venue based in Hanbury Street in London. The space includes a vegan cafe, creative venue and community hub.
The existing brand wasn’t communicating clearly what the business was about. The project hence featured a full rebrand - this included a new logo, colour palette, typography system and numerous print and digital outputs such as venue signage, menus, posters, leaflets, social media templates and digital documents.
The challenge for Karla as a designer was to translate a fairly complicated business model into a clean and clear brand, and Karla listened carefully and translated our feedback into brand assets that we can use across all the various areas of our business. I always enjoyed talking to Karla, and was consistently impressed with her work.
